Starting point

A bakery website with a case list and a cake enquiry page

A bakery sells two different things: the case, which is a price list, and the celebration cake, which is a conversation. It is the only dining starting point in the website builder that hands a baker a page for each — the case list on one, a photo enquiry form on the other.

The case is a list. A wedding cake is a conversation.

Everything in the case can be a row with a price — three breads, four pastries — and that is how the shop page reads. Whole cakes cannot: the sample category is literally named "Whole Cakes (48h notice)", because lead time is the thing a customer must see before anything else. So custom work gets its own page with an enquiry form that takes a reference photo, which no other dining template includes.

What the sample site comes with

Three product sections holding nine priced items, a custom-cake enquiry form with a photo field, a six-image gallery, one discount code, and four pages.

Anything on that list that takes something from a visitor or reads from a live schedule — a form, a booking, a coupon code, a subscribe box, a class timetable, a listing fed by a collection — goes online with Storefront Pro. Storefront publishes the rest of the page exactly as you built it; where this template gives one of those a page of its own, that page is the one that waits for the upgrade.

What is in scope, and what stays in your own systems

The enquiry form collects a request; it does not price it, schedule it or take a deposit. Allergen labelling, ingredient lists and lead-time rules are yours to write into the copy.

Every count and price on this page was read out of the template itself rather than written by hand, which is why the numbers match the site you actually get.

What you get when you publish it
