Online ordering
A restaurant website builder with online ordering — and 0% commission
Marketplace apps take a cut of every order that walks through them. A website that takes orders itself does not: the order, the customer and the money stay with the restaurant.
Orders placed on a Naratake site are charged through the restaurant’s own Stripe account, so Naratake takes 0% commission on every order; the only per-order cost is Stripe’s own published rate for domestic cards, 2.9% + $0.30 per successful transaction, read on Stripe’s pricing page in September 2026.
Live online ordering runs on a published site with Storefront Pro, $79 a month or $758 a year; Storefront, $49 a month or $468 a year, publishes the site without it. Building the menu, cart and checkout and previewing the whole flow costs nothing and needs no plan.
What happens when someone orders
- The order is placed on your siteMenu, cart and checkout run on the website itself — no redirect to an app, no marketplace account for the customer to create.
- The money goes straight to youCards are charged through your own Stripe account. We take 0% of sales — what you pay is Stripe’s normal card fee, the same as any till.
- The order lands in your back officeOrders, customers, promotions and stats sit behind the owner’s login on the published site — not in a third dashboard you rent separately.
The same machinery makes it a booking website: the guest picks the date, the time and the party size, the table is held on the spot, and the booking is in your back office before they close the tab.
The fine print, before you ask
- Live ordering on a published site is a Storefront Pro feature ($79/month or $758/year). On Storefront you can build and preview the whole flow, but it does not go live.
- You connect Stripe by pasting two keys from your own account at setup — a direct connection, with no Naratake account standing between your customer’s card and your bank.
- This is not a delivery marketplace. No drivers, no listings, no per-order fee — it is your own website taking orders directly.

Asked before buying
How much commission does Naratake take on orders?
None — 0% of sales. Cards are charged through your own Stripe account, so the only per-order cost is Stripe’s normal card fee, the same as a card machine in the shop.
Which plan do I need for live online ordering?
Storefront Pro. On Storefront you can build and preview the full ordering flow, but it does not run on the published site.
Do I need my own Stripe account?
Yes, and that is what makes the 0% possible: you paste your own publishable and secret keys once during setup, the charge runs on your Stripe account, and the money settles there without ever passing through us.
Is this a delivery marketplace?
No. There are no drivers, no listings and no per-order fees — it is your own website taking pickup orders directly from your own customers.

Building and previewing are free, with no card to sign up — a plan is what takes the site live.
