Starting point

A photographer’s website where the portfolio is the whole argument

Twelve image slots in one gallery, more than any other starting point puts in one place, and a photographer replaces all twelve inside the website builder. Behind the pictures, four session types with a price, a length and a deposit figure, so an enquiry arrives already qualified.

Twelve frames, then four prices

The gallery here holds twelve images, the largest single gallery in the catalogue, because a photographer is hired on the strength of a set rather than a line of copy. The session list underneath is what turns a browser into an enquiry: portrait at $350 for an hour, family at $475, a branding half-day at $1,200 for four hours, a seasonal mini at $175 for twenty minutes — each with a deposit figure from $50 to $250 printed alongside.

What the sample site comes with

A twelve-image portfolio gallery, four priced session types from 20 to 240 minutes, a newsletter signup, three typed testimonials, and four pages. Each session carries a stated deposit from $50 to $250, charged through your own Stripe account with 0% commission to us — Stripe’s own card fee still applies.

Anything on that list that takes something from a visitor or reads from a live schedule — a form, a booking, a coupon code, a subscribe box, a class timetable, a listing fed by a collection — goes online with Storefront Pro. Storefront publishes the rest of the page exactly as you built it; where this template gives one of those a page of its own, that page is the one that waits for the upgrade.

What is in scope, and what stays in your own systems

Proofing galleries, download delivery, watermarking and print ordering stay in the tools a photographer already pays for — this is the site that gets the inquiry, not the darkroom behind it.

Every count and price on this page was read out of the template itself rather than written by hand, which is why the numbers match the site you actually get.

What you get when you publish it

Questions people actually ask

The portfolio grid and the home-page contact sheet are the whole pitch — how do my photographs get in?

The Portfolio page is a twelve-frame gallery, three across; the home page carries a five-frame contact sheet with captions — the first look, golden hour, the in-between, details, the keeper. Both ship filled with licensed photography so the page reads finished before you touch it, and you replace frames one at a time in the editor. Worth knowing before you experiment: switching between the 15 design styles rebuilds the layout and carries your structured content across, but photographs you swapped in by hand go back to the template's. One undo takes the whole switch back.
