Starting point
A design studio website that deploys as static files
One of four starting points that need no database: nothing on this site stores what a visitor does, so the whole studio site deploys as plain static files — no server to keep alive, no back office to log into, and nothing that can be down at 3am while a client is looking at your work.

Shown in the Zine design style — one of 15 you can switch between; your business content carries over.

A studio site should not need a server to run
Four pages — home, work, studio, contact — and none of them writes anything down, which is why this starting point delivers with no database and no back-office screens at all. That is checkable, not a slogan: the delivery has three modules where an ordering template has eleven. The work gallery holds six pieces, a logo strip carries the clients you can name, and a five-question FAQ covers what a studio is always asked before a first call.
What the sample site comes with
A six-image work gallery, a client logo strip, a five-question studio FAQ, three typed testimonials, a process timeline, and four pages with no database.
Anything on that list that takes something from a visitor or reads from a live schedule — a form, a booking, a coupon code, a subscribe box, a class timetable, a listing fed by a collection — goes online with Storefront Pro. Storefront publishes the rest of the page exactly as you built it; where this template gives one of those a page of its own, that page is the one that waits for the upgrade.

What is in scope, and what stays in your own systems
Projects here are gallery entries and copy rather than case studies with their own URLs, and client login and proposal flow stay in the tools a studio already runs its billing through.
Every count and price on this page was read out of the template itself rather than written by hand, which is why the numbers match the site you actually get.
What you get when you publish it
- Your own domain, hosting and HTTPS on the published site — not a subdomain of ours.
- Card payments run through your own Stripe account. Naratake takes 0% commission on the sale; only Stripe’s own card fee applies.
- Storefront Pro downloads the whole project as a standard Next.js app, so the site can be self-hosted with Naratake switched off.
- Building and previewing is free with no card. Storefront is $49 a month or $468 a year; Storefront Pro — which is where ordering and bookings go live — is $79 a month or $758 a year. The first payment is refundable in full within 7 days.
