Starting point

A conference website with the full two-day agenda on it

What a conference organiser gets from the website builder is both days in order: fifteen dated agenda entries, each with a time and a description rather than a grid of session titles, and six speakers with a talk, a track and a page of their own.

An agenda is fifteen decisions, not a grid

Day one holds eight entries and day two holds seven, each with a start time and a real description of what happens in the room. That is what an attendee is deciding on, and it is why the agenda gets a full page rather than a table cell. The speakers collection defines eight fields — name, role, organisation, talk, track, day, photo, bio — so a speaker is a record with a page, not a headshot in a row. A countdown sits on the home page and the venue page answers six questions.

What the sample site comes with

A speakers collection with eight fields and six sample speakers, each with a page, a two-day agenda of fifteen dated entries, a countdown, a schedule table, a venue page with six FAQ answers, and five pages.

Anything on that list that takes something from a visitor or reads from a live schedule — a form, a booking, a coupon code, a subscribe box, a class timetable, a listing fed by a collection — goes online with Storefront Pro. Storefront publishes the rest of the page exactly as you built it; where this template gives one of those a page of its own, that page is the one that waits for the upgrade.

What is in scope, and what stays in your own systems

No ticketing, no registration, no badge scanning and no sponsor tiers. Passes and prices are copy on the page, and the agenda is typed rather than fed from a session-management tool.

Every count and price on this page was read out of the template itself rather than written by hand, which is why the numbers match the site you actually get.

Questions people actually ask

The roster is six speakers now. What does a speaker entry hold?

Name, job title, organization, the talk in one line, a track picked from the three the sample defines, the day — Friday or Saturday — a photograph, and a full bio. The card prints role, org and track as chips and uses the talk line as the blurb, which is why the talk sits above the biography: the talk is what makes someone click. Three run on the home page; the Speakers page holds up to twenty-four, and each speaker gets a page of their own.
