Sizes are per face, landscape: 4 × 6 in is a face 6 in wide and 4 in tall. The flat sheet is two faces stacked; every size fits A4, and 5 × 7 needs the narrowest margin setting on Letter.

The lower face is upside down on purpose. Print, cut along the dashed outline, fold on the dashed center line, and both faces read the right way up.
Print and Save as PDF open the same browser dialog; set the scale to 100%, not “fit to page”. The PNG is 300 dpi at the chosen size — right for a print shop or a quick print from your phone.
Everything is rendered in your browser. Nothing is uploaded or stored — the tent is gone when you close the tab.
Before you print a stack
- The preview is the sheet. Both faces carry the same content and the lower one is rotated 180°, which is what lets a fold-in-half tent read upright on both sides. Print at 100%, never “fit to page”, or the faces shrink.
- Card stock, not copier paper. 200 to 250 gsm (about 75 to 90 lb cover) holds a fold and stands on a table; ordinary paper leans and drops. Score the fold with the edge of a ruler before you fold it.
- One message per tent. A headline and three short lines can be read from across the table; a paragraph cannot. Put the price next to the dish and the hours next to the offer.
- The QR code is drawn here as well — a link, or your Wi-Fi network so guests connect without typing. Nothing is uploaded, and the sheet exists only on this page until you print it or export a PNG.
A tent that says “scan for the menu” does more when that menu takes orders. On a Naratake restaurant site the menu is a page customers order from, paid through your own Stripe account, and Naratake takes 0% commission (Stripe’s card fee still applies). What paper size do I print a table tent on?
Letter or A4, whichever your printer holds. The 4×6 and 5×7 options print as a 6×8 in or 7×10 in flat sheet, and A6 prints as an A5 sheet. All three fit A4 with default margins; on Letter, the 7×10 in sheet is a tight fit, so set the margins to the narrowest option if it spills onto a second page. Cut along the dashed outline, fold on the center line.
Why is the bottom half printed upside down?
Because the sheet folds in half. Once the two faces are back to back, the panel that was upside down flat on the desk is the right way up on the table. Print shops usually lay out tent-card files the same way; the preview simply shows it before you print.
Can I put a QR code on the tent?
Yes, two kinds. A link — your menu page, your Google review link, your booking page — or a Wi-Fi code that opens a “Join network” prompt on most recent iPhones and Android phones when the camera reads it. The code is generated in your browser. For a menu, point it at the menu page on your website rather than a PDF, so one edit updates every table.
Do you print and ship the table tents?
No. This page makes the print-ready sheet and nothing else. Print it yourself on card stock, or save it as a PDF and hand that to a local print shop, which can also cut and score it for you. Naratake does not print, ship, or sell paper.
